Oaxaca hosts the highest diversity of birds of any Mexican state and is world renowned for its food, art, and coffee. Join us for an incredible sampling of the region’s bird life including the spectacular Chipe Rojo (Red Warbler), Dwarf Jay, Slaty and Dwarf Vireos, a collection of seabirds, and a couple of buntings that will knock your socks off. Additionally, you should prepare yourself for the tastes of Mexico: world class chocolate, coffee, mole sauces, tamales, chapulines (grasshoppers) and chiles. And finally, take a walk amid the ancient pyramids of the Zapotec culture.
